Adjust loyalty points

When to use this procedure

Follow the steps below to adjust a customer's loyalty point balance.

Steps to complete

Prerequisites: The customer account must be set up for loyalty points on the Add/Change Customer window (must have a loyalty number).

  1. On the Modules menu, point to Customer, then to Loyalty Points and click Adjust Points. The Pick Customer window displays.
  2. Search for and select a customer. The Adjust Loyalty Points window displays.
  3. Enter a dollar amount to calculate loyalty points in the Amount box and/or enter the number of points to add or remove in the Points Adjustment box. The Points Adjustment box is required if the customer type associated with the account is not set up with a default loyalty point calculation.
  4. If desired, enter any notes regarding the points adjustment in the Notes box.
  5. Click Save. The Select Output Destination window displays.
  6. Select your desired output destination and click OK. The points adjustment invoice is sent to print preview, a printer, or a file location depending on your report output selections.
